Congregation Ahavath Israel of Kingston, New York is a liberal, egalitarian Conservative Synagogue, affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism. We have a strong, vital congregation and offer many programs for both children and adults. Located in Kingston, New York, congregation Ahavath Israel has served the needs of the Kingston and surrounding communities since it was founded in 1906. Our members come from Kingston, Shokan, Woodstock, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Catskill, New Paltz, Gardiner, Kerhonkson, and other connecting areas. Our modern synagogue building houses a large sanctuary, a social hall with a full kosher kitchen, meeting rooms, classrooms, and a comfortable library for research, reflection, and personal study.
